##1.A Brief Account of My Life
I am Nathuram Vinayak Godse and I was born on 19th January 1898 at Pune in Maharashtra state. My father was a simple man. He was a self-made lawyer and earned a good living. He was very simple minded and was very pious. He used to go to the temple on Fridays and returned home after my marriage. He was a sincere man and always tried to be in the good books of others. He lived a very simple life and my mother, along with two sisters, was the real housewife. My father did not have a son. My mother could not bear the sadness and hence decided to marry again.
##2.My Forebears
My father was a native of Maharashtra. He was the younger brother of Dr Bal Gangadhar Tilak, the great nationalist and freedom fighter. He was the younger brother of Dr Vinayak Damodar and was greatly respected. He was a lawyer and was a great orator. He was a very simple man. My mother was from Gujarat. My mother was the elder sister of Narayan Sanghvi, the freedom fighter and the great editor of Maharashtra state. She was well educated and had a high sense of patriotism and she was a simple woman. After my marriage, I changed my name from Vinayak to Nathuram Godse.

I was the eldest among all the four children of my parents. My father had three sisters and two brothers. My father was the younger brother of Vinayak
